Clint’s Cragg failure…

Well, Ireshopeburn and the surrounding area was very rough going and had to be abandoned on this trip (the map is not the territory, the map is not the territory…). We almost lost the car to the rocks and ‘road’ and we probably should have brought some rope (I hate to quote Sam Gamgee here….). A local gentleman on an atv who happened to be driving by helped us extract the car, thank you sir, also informed us we were on a private ‘road’. We pushed on for the Borders, and saw some beautiful parts of Northumberland. My soul always sings in that area, when I die, just roll my body into the heather, please. drc

    • Well, in the early modern era, people usually encountered spirituall creatures when in some form of destitution, or duress, ‘puddled and muddled’ as the scots used to say, and i have gotten very wet! Sorry haven’t been tweeting much, too worn out at end of day. Can’t believe the good news, NUFC in 4th place. Going to be back in the smoke the day they play Chelsea, but no tix left:( all the best from Bradford at the moment.
