In the pines, in the pines…

Rombald’s Moor, although it seems more a forest, very dense, very dark. Amazing stone wall and cave in dense woods. Lots of pheasant and grouse. Dead moles on fences, and lamb and sheep. Could feel and see the trees ‘breathe’. Lots of weird stones and mist. glitter of gold in forest clearing. Now in County Durham, heading to Ireshopeburn and Clint’s Craggs, looking for the cave of the Qweene of Fearrie. drc
